Regular Officer Recruitment – Ghana Armed Forces (Nationwide)

About the role

The Ghana Armed Forces is seeking qualified candidates to join as regular officers in the Army, Navy or Air Force. Successful applicants will undergo training at the Ghana Military Academy and be commissioned as Lieutenant, Sub‑Lieutenant or Flying Officer.

Key responsibilities

• Complete the required officer training programme at the Ghana Military Academy.
• Serve in the designated branch (Army, Navy or Air Force) and fulfill duties assigned to commissioned officers.
• Uphold the standards and discipline of the Ghana Armed Forces while contributing to national security.

Required profile

• Possess a Degree, Diploma or HND from a recognised university or polytechnic in any of the listed fields (e.g., Arts, Social Science, Engineering, Computer Science, Languages, etc.).
• Diplomas in a single subject or Business Studies are not acceptable.
• Submit a handwritten Initial Data Form together with photocopies of birth/baptismal certificates, educational certificates, four recent passport photographs and the required EMS prepaid envelope.
• Clearly indicate the desired branch, type of commission and vacancy on the application form.
