Remote Go Software Engineer – AI LLM Evaluation

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Go software engineer to join our AI team that builds evaluation and training datasets for large language models (LLMs). The role combines hands‑on development, repository automation, and LLM performance testing on real‑world code.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and triage GitHub issues across trending open‑source libraries.
• Set up and configure code repositories, including Dockerization and environment setup.
• Evaluate unit test coverage and quality of the codebases.
• Modify and run code locally to assess LLM performance in bug‑fixing scenarios.
• Collaborate with researchers to design challenging repositories and issues for LLM evaluation.
• Lead junior engineers on project tasks when needed.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Tech‑lead level competence with complex codebases.
• Familiarity with high‑quality public GitHub repositories.
• Ability to work remotely at least 20 hours per week with a 4‑hour overlap with PST.

Required skills

• Go programming language.
• Git version control.
