Remote Trademark Paralegal (Full-Time, Attorney Preferred)

About the role

Mobile General Counsel is seeking an experienced trademark paralegal to join its U.S. trademark practice on a full‑time remote basis. You will support a high‑volume docket, preparing applications, conducting searches, and drafting Office Action responses under attorney supervision.

Key responsibilities

• Run trademark searches in Westlaw and USPTO databases and summarize findings.
• Prepare draft word‑mark and design‑mark applications, including filing bases, goods/services identifications, and specimens.
• Build TEAS filings for attorney review and signature.
• Draft Office Action responses, gathering evidence and crafting arguments under supervision.
• Maintain the trademark docket: track filing dates, response deadlines, renewal windows, Section 8, 15, 9 filings, Madrid filings, and coordinate with foreign counsel.
• Own the calendar and provide client status updates.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience as a trademark or IP paralegal managing a large docket (hundreds of marks).
• Proven ability to discuss specific docket‑tracking methods.
• Fluent written English with drafts requiring only light edits.
• Will work under supervision of a U.S.-licensed attorney; no independent legal advice.
