Revenue Assurance Specialist

About the role

The Revenue Assurance Specialist leads the delivery of product and tariff assurance KPIs across multiple telecom domains, including Prepaid, Postpaid, ADSL, Roaming, and Content services. The role ensures end‑to‑end revenue integrity, implements controls, and provides real‑time visibility through automated dashboards and alarm systems.

Key responsibilities

• Lead assurance activities for new products, tariffs, and services, monitoring KPIs across assigned domains.
• Conduct comprehensive reviews of revenue life cycles and business units to verify control implementation and identify gaps.
• Design, build, and maintain an automated local dashboard that tracks major revenues, costs, and financial KPIs, integrated with alarm mechanisms.
• Document, quantify, and perform root‑cause analysis on identified issues, proposing corrective actions with impact assessments on revenue, cost, and margin targets.
• Participate in or lead cross‑functional teams to resolve revenue assurance challenges and implement effective control measures.

Required profile

• First degree in Computer Science, Business, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in finance, auditing, or revenue assurance; 2–3 years in a similar role is preferred.
• Strong understanding of telecom products, services, and automated test‑calling methodologies.
• Certification such as CISA is desirable but not mandatory.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• SQL querying and data manipulation
• Experience with data‑analytics tools or dedicated revenue‑assurance platforms
• Familiarity with billing systems, rating engines, and mediation systems
