Room Divisions Manager

About the role

The Room Divisions Manager supports the execution of all rooms‑area operations – Front Office, Engineering/Maintenance and Housekeeping – at Marriott’s Accra & Tema properties. The role focuses on driving guest and employee satisfaction while delivering strong financial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in managing daily operations of Front Office, Engineering/Maintenance and Housekeeping.
• Lead the rooms operations team, translating goals into guest tracking and productivity targets.
• Monitor compliance with brand standards, procedures and recovery plans.
• Publish guest satisfaction results and act on feedback.
• Conduct regular one‑to‑one meetings with staff and support scheduling against occupancy goals.
• Take proactive action on employee concerns and promote a culture of motivation and continuous improvement.
• Perform hourly duties as needed and undertake additional tasks to meet business needs.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with at least 4 years of experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping or a related area; OR a 2‑year degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration or a related field with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, drive performance and enhance guest satisfaction.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem solving.
