Sales and Marketing Specialist

About the role

Merchap Ghana is seeking a Sales and Marketing Specialist to drive growth of its tissue and cleaning product range across Ghana. The role is full‑time, on‑site and will focus on acquiring new B2B customers while nurturing existing relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the hospitality, healthcare and wholesale sectors.
• Conduct market research and analyse competitor activity.
• Develop and execute sales and marketing campaigns, including promotional and social media initiatives.
• Prepare proposals, quotations and negotiate contracts with prospective clients.
• Manage the sales pipeline, track performance metrics and report progress to management.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• Strong communication and presentation abilities.
• Proven experience in B2B sales, lead generation and deal closing.
• Background in customer service with a focus on client retention.
• Experience in training or coaching colleagues on sales techniques.
• Familiarity with basic marketing practices and social media outreach.
• Willingness to travel to client sites across Accra, Kumasi and Takoradi.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Business, Marketing or a related field is an advantage.
