Sales Business Development – Corporate & SME Clients

About the role

GiRD is seeking a full‑time Sales Business Development professional to work on‑site in Accra. The role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, generating leads and building lasting relationships with corporate and SME clients across GiRD’s training, consulting and financial services.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market research to identify potential clients and industry trends.
• Generate and qualify leads, manage the sales pipeline and follow up prospects.
• Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and tailored proposals.
• Maintain accurate records in the company’s CRM or sales tracking system.
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop customized solutions for clients.
• Support marketing initiatives such as events, outreach campaigns and client engagement activities.
• Achieve sales targets and contribute to the development of sales strategies.

Required profile

• Strong communication and customer‑service skills.
• Analytical mindset with ability to conduct market research.
• Proven experience in lead generation and managing a sales pipeline.
• Background in sales or business development, preferably within training, consulting or financial services.
• Excellent negotiation, presentation and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work on‑site in Accra, manage multiple priorities and meet defined timelines.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics or a related field is preferred.
