Sales Executive – Bakery Ingredients (Field Role)

About the role

We are looking for a proactive, relationship‑driven Sales Executive to sell premium baking ingredients directly to commercial bakeries, local bakeries, and artisanal pastry makers. The role is 90% field‑based, focusing on building long‑term client relationships and expanding our market presence in the Accra‑Tema region.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect, pitch, and sell a range of bread ingredients (improvers, flour, yeast, premixes, shortenings, flavorings) to bakers and bakery owners.
• Maintain strong, long‑term relationships with clients, addressing production challenges and recommending tailored solutions.
• Coordinate direct deliveries, manage stock availability at client sites, and ensure proper product placement.
• Monitor competitor pricing, product trends, and emerging baking techniques, providing feedback to product and management teams.
• Track daily sales visits, manage order pipelines, and achieve monthly revenue and volume targets.

Required profile

• Minimum Diploma or Degree in Food Science, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field (SHS graduates with strong field sales experience are also considered).
• At least 1 year of proven B2B sales experience in FMCG, food manufacturing, or bakery/confectionery ingredients.
• Strong understanding of baking processes, raw materials, and the needs of commercial or artisan bakeries.
• Resident in Accra, Tema, Mallam, Dome, or Ashaiman with familiarity of local bakery clusters and distribution routes.
• Self‑motivated, results‑oriented, with excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
