Sales Officer – Client Acquisition & Revenue Growth

About the role

The Sales Officer is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Accra, tasked with driving revenue growth and supporting client acquisition for RPS HR SUPPORT SERVICES COMPANY LIMITED. The role involves prospecting new business, managing the sales pipeline and delivering tailored HR solutions to organisations across multiple sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, qualify and nurture leads across BPO, logistics, manufacturing, retail, construction, mining and other industries.
• Manage the sales pipeline, conduct presentations and prepare proposals and quotations for prospective clients.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, respond to inquiries and provide excellent customer service throughout the sales cycle.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align service offerings with client needs and ensure accurate documentation of sales activities.
• Monitor market trends, contribute to channel‑sales initiatives and report on sales performance to support strategic decisions.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service and communication skills with the ability to engage professionally at all levels.
• Proficiency in lead generation, pipeline management and follow‑up activities.
• Experience in channel or partnership‑based selling, preferably within HR services or related fields.
• Demonstrated ability to meet sales targets, negotiate agreements and manage client relationships.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, HR or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Excellent organisational and time‑management abilities with attention to detail.
• Comfort working in a fast‑paced, target‑driven environment and collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
• Familiarity with CRM tools and basic Microsoft Office applications; data‑informed decision‑making is a plus.
