Sales Representative

About the role

The Sales Representative will work on the shop floor, engaging with customers, promoting products and ensuring a clean, well‑stocked retail environment. This position requires a proactive attitude to meet client needs and support the overall sales targets of the business.

Key responsibilities

• Assist customers throughout the shopping experience and present product information.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of all products and services offered.
• Keep the shop premises clean and ensure all equipment functions properly, reporting any issues promptly.
• Replenish shelves regularly and conduct frequent inventory checks.
• Follow company policies on cash handling, security and record‑keeping.
• Handle customer complaints and queries, providing timely resolutions.
• Stay informed about current sales trends and best practices.
• Maintain and update contact lists, following up to nurture customer relationships.

Required profile

• SHS graduate, Diploma, HND or Degree.
• One to three years of experience in a similar sales or retail role.
• Proficiency in English communication.
• Strong negotiation, time‑management and planning abilities.
