Sales Supervisor – Alternative Business Markets

About the role

The Sales Supervisor for Alternative Business Markets will lead the expansion of Blue Financial Services' credit and investment portfolio across underserved segments in Ghana. Reporting to the Head of Sales and Business Development, you will guide a team of Sales Executives to acquire new customers, deepen existing relationships, and drive sustainable revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales and business development strategies to increase market share in alternative markets.
• Lead, coach, and evaluate a team of Sales Executives, setting performance targets and providing ongoing training.
• Identify and optimise distribution channels to improve product accessibility.
• Monitor market trends, customer behaviour and competitor activity to uncover cross‑selling and upselling opportunities.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Customer Service, Operations and IT to ensure alignment of sales initiatives.
• Prepare accurate sales forecasts and management reports to support strategic decisions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales or a related field.
• Minimum five years of supervisory experience in business development, sales or customer service.
• Strong knowledge of sales growth techniques, market research methods and the Ghanaian consumer landscape.
• Proven people‑management and leadership abilities with a customer‑service orientation.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) – intermediate to advanced level.
