Security Guard

About the role

Micasso is looking for a disciplined Security Guard to protect people, property and assets at its Tiles Plaza in Spintex, Accra. The ideal candidate will have a strong military background, high alertness and a professional attitude.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor all entry and exit points and conduct routine patrols of the premises, showroom and external areas.
• Operate CCTV systems, verify visitor and vendor access, and manage vehicle movement and parking.
• Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, fire, accidents or other emergencies and provide first‑line assistance.
• Preserve incident scenes, document reports and maintain accurate daily logs, handover notes and incident records.
• Enforce company rules, safety standards and security protocols, and support investigations as needed.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in security or protective services.
• Basic education (SHS/WASSCE) or equivalent; military training is an advantage.
• Strong discipline, integrity, physical fitness and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Good observation, reporting abilities and professional interaction with customers and staff.

Required skills

• Familiarity with CCTV operation.
• Use of radio communication devices.
• Operation of security scanners.
