Security Supervisor – Accra Offices

About the role

The leading pharmaceutical company in Ghana is seeking a proactive Security Supervisor to manage day‑to‑day security operations at its Accra offices and oversee activities in Tema. This hands‑on role ensures a safe environment for staff, visitors, and critical assets.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a secure working environment for employees and visitors.
• Control and monitor access to restricted areas such as cold rooms, storage facilities, and inventory zones, keeping all keys confidential.
• Supervise searches of vehicles, bags, containers, and equipment to prevent unlawful removal of products or company property.
• Implement security measures across assigned facilities and lead emergency evacuations.
• Assist the Head of Security by promptly reporting incidents, crimes, or suspicious activities.
• Seize prohibited items discovered during inspections and coordinate with authorities as needed.
• Document incidents thoroughly, preparing detailed reports and preserving evidence.

Required profile

• High school qualification or equivalent, plus formal security training.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar security supervisory role.
