Security Supervisor – Pharmaceutical Facility

About the role

The leading pharmaceutical company in Ghana is seeking a hands‑on Security Supervisor to be based at its Accra offices and oversee daily security operations across the site, including the Tema facility. The role ensures a safe environment for staff, visitors, and valuable assets.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a secure working environment by monitoring access to restricted areas such as cold rooms, storage, and inventory zones.
• Supervise and conduct searches of vehicles, bags, containers, and personnel to prevent unlawful removal of products, raw materials, tools, or company property.
• Manage key control, ensuring all keys are kept safe, secure, and confidential.
• Lead emergency evacuation procedures for staff and visitors.
• Assist the Head of Security by promptly reporting all incidents, crimes, or suspected activities.
• Seize prohibited items detected during inspections and coordinate with law‑enforcement as needed.
• Document incidents, compile evidence, and prepare detailed reports.

Required profile

• High school qualification or equivalent, with formal security training.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a comparable security supervisory role.
• Proven ability to manage security operations in a high‑value, regulated environment.
