Senior Backend Engineer – Node.js & AWS (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer with deep expertise in Node.js and AWS to join a high‑traffic platform on a contract basis. The role is fully remote and focuses on designing, building, and maintaining scalable cloud‑native services.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy Node.js microservices using AWS (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, CloudFormation).
• Optimize backend performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Create secure RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
• Lead architectural decisions for cloud infrastructure and serverless solutions.
• Implement monitoring, debugging, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of professional Node.js backend development experience.
• Proven ability to work independently in a distributed, remote team.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and a focus on delivering high‑quality code.
