Senior DevOps Engineer

About the role

Zof AI is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to own and operate the infrastructure that powers large fleets of sandboxed agents executing customer code. You will work in a high‑performance environment, using AI tools to automate operational tasks while ensuring security, reliability, and cost efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain sandboxed environments for agent execution.
• Own end‑to‑end Kubernetes, container, and compute infrastructure.
• Create and manage CI/CD pipelines that enable safe, frequent releases.
• Implement strong isolation (e.g., gVisor, Firecracker) for untrusted code.
• Instrument fleet health with metrics, logs, tracing, and alerts.
• Optimize cost per agent run through scheduling, autoscaling, and capacity planning.
• Automate provisioning, deployment, rollback, and environment management.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure fast and safe infrastructure.

Required profile

• Proven experience running production infrastructure on a major cloud platform.
• Strong judgment on security, reliability, and cost trade‑offs.
• Comfort operating in a fast‑moving, high‑scale environment.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• Kubernetes and container orchestration (Docker, etc.).
• CI/CD pipeline design and implementation.
• Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Pulumi or similar).
• Observability, monitoring, logging, and tracing.
• On‑call and incident response practices.
• Daily use of AI tools for automation.
• Experience with sandboxing or multi‑tenant isolation (gVisor, Firecracker) – nice to have.
