Senior Elastic Security Specialist / SIEM Consultant

About the role

We are hiring a Senior Elastic Security Specialist / SIEM Consultant for an on‑site short‑term contract in Ghana. The assignment lasts 1‑2 months and focuses on deploying Elastic Security solutions in multi‑tenant environments. You will work directly with client teams to bring log data into Elastic and enable advanced threat detection.

Key responsibilities

• Onboard prioritized log sources in phased releases, ensuring correct parsing to the Elastic Common Schema (ECS).
• Create and maintain a comprehensive data‑source catalog documenting source, parsing status, and ownership.
• Configure Index Lifecycle Management (ILM) and retention policies, and set up per‑tenant access controls.
• Deploy standard alerting rules and client‑facing SIEM dashboards to support security operations.

Required profile

• Proven track record in SOC environments, large‑scale log ingestion, and tenant data segregation.
• Prior consulting experience delivering Elastic Security (SIEM) deployments for multi‑tenant security operations, log onboarding, and threat detection.
• Hands‑on expertise in parsing and normalizing log sources strictly to the Elastic Common Schema (ECS).
