Senior HR Business Partner (HRBP)

About the role

The Senior HR Business Partner will support HR Business Partners and Associates in delivering end‑to‑end HR services across recruitment, performance management, and employee relations. You will act as a key liaison between the HR function, employer partners, and associates, ensuring compliance with local labour laws and company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Provide guidance to HRBPs and Associates on recruitment, performance management, and associate relations.
• Review HR‑related communications, reports and documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Oversee the full recruitment cycle, ensuring timelines, quality standards and stakeholder expectations are met.
• Resolve complex or escalated employee issues with professionalism and sensitivity.
• Implement HR policies across external stakeholders in line with Ghanaian labour legislation.
• Monitor associate compliance with mandatory training, certifications and performance targets.
• Investigate grievances, escalating sensitive matters to the Program Coordinator.
• Maintain accurate digital and physical records for associates and employer partners.
• Lead disciplinary actions, terminations and exit interviews, ensuring proper documentation.
• Represent HR in Project Steering Committee meetings and present KPI reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences or related field.
• 7‑8 years of progressive HR experience, including supervision of a team of 3‑5 members.
• Proven experience in HR administration, employee relations, performance management and labour law compliance.
• Experience coordinating projects and working under tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
