Senior IT Technical Support Specialist

About the role

Modupay is looking for a Senior IT Technical Support Specialist to design, implement and maintain its core IT infrastructure. You will ensure servers, networks and storage systems operate securely and reliably while supporting the company’s growth.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deploy and maintain server, network and storage infrastructure across Accra and Tema.
• Administer daily operations, monitor performance and troubleshoot incidents.
• Create and update standard operating procedures, policies and technical documentation.
• Evaluate new hardware, software and technologies to improve efficiency.
• Develop disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
• Ensure compliance with security standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align IT solutions with business needs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in a factory or similar environment.
• Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving abilities under pressure.
• Excellent customer service and stakeholder communication.
• Process‑oriented mindset with ITIL awareness.
• Proactive in identifying recurring issues and proposing fixes.
