Senior Maintenance Supervisor

About the role

Mantrac Ghana Ltd is seeking an experienced Senior Supervisor to lead maintenance operations for heavy‑duty earthmoving and construction equipment at its Tarkwa site. The role focuses on ensuring equipment availability, driving continuous improvement, and upholding safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate maintenance activities to keep equipment serviced, repaved and returned to operation efficiently, minimizing downtime.
• Provide supervision and direction to maintenance teams covering preventive maintenance, field service, workshop, electrical and welding functions.
• Support troubleshooting of complex technical issues and collaborate with specialist resources.
• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with company safety procedures and industry regulations.
• Oversee quality assurance, inspections, repair verification and warranty claim administration.
• Analyse maintenance performance data, downtime trends and prepare reports to support management decisions.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years experience in heavy‑duty earthmoving, mining or construction machinery maintenance.
• BSc/BTech/HND in Engineering or a related qualification.
• Ghana Mineral Commission Inspection Engineer certificate.
• Membership of a relevant professional body (desirable).
• Based in or willing to work in Tarkwa, Ghana.
