Senior Offshore Installation Engineer (SURF)

About the role

SRI EMAS, an indigenous Ghanaian offshore solutions provider, is expanding its business and needs a Senior Engineer to support SURF (Subsea Umbilicals, Risers and Flowlines) installation projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop lift plans and simple offshore installation engineering documents.
• Prepare offshore installation procedures, task plans, mobilisation and load‑out plans.
• Update and maintain the Minimum Equipment List (MEL) and ensure compliance with HSE standards.
• Participate in project activities such as HAZOP, SJA, HAZID and assist the engineering manager with internal training courses.
• Report regularly on scope of work and mentor junior staff.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related professional qualification.
• At least 4 years of experience in offshore structural engineering design, construction and fabrication.
• Working knowledge of industry design standards.
• Familiarity with vessel ballasting, welding and structural construction.

Required skills

• Experience with flexible, umbilical and structure installation.
• Proficiency in Orcaflex, MathCAD, Microsoft Excel and SACS.
• BOSIET certification (preferred).
• Chartered status (preferred).
