Shop Attendant / Shop Supervisor

About the role

Duka Agro Ghana Limited is looking for enthusiastic individuals to join its retail team as Shop Attendants or Shop Supervisors. You will be the face of the shop, delivering excellent customer service and ensuring smooth daily operations across its locations in Tseaddo, Flower Pot/Spintex and Pantang.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome customers, answer enquiries and assist with purchases.
• Promote and recommend products, driving sales.
• Arrange and display merchandise neatly and attractively.
• Maintain a clean, organized and welcoming shop environment.
• Handle sales transactions, receive payments and keep accurate sales records.
• Assist with stock‑taking, monitoring inventory and replenishment.
• Monitor product availability and report low‑stock items.
• Support day‑to‑day shop operations and work with colleagues to meet targets.
• For supervisors: oversee shop attendants, monitor performance and ensure proper cash handling.
• Prepare or submit daily sales and operational reports.

Required profile

• Female applicants only.
• Previous experience in retail, sales, customer service or hospitality is an advantage.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Honest, reliable, punctual and hardworking.
• Strong numeracy and basic record‑keeping abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
