Sign Language Interpreter

About the role

AmaliTech is seeking a Sign Language Interpreter to ensure effective communication for hearing‑impaired staff and to train all employees in sign language. The role involves both interpretation and instructional responsibilities within the Training Centre.

Key responsibilities

• Provide sign language interpretation for hearing‑impaired AmaliTech staff.
• Conduct in‑house workshops to teach sign language to all employees.
• Assist trainers in creating and continuously improving inclusive course content and curricula.
• Track training materials, suggest enhancements, and report needed modifications to the Head of Training Centre.
• Evaluate training outcomes to identify areas for improvement.
• Prepare teaching aids such as summaries, videos, and presentation slides.
• Support other departments as required by the training centre.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Education in Special Education with a focus on Sign Language Interpretation or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
• Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented and professional.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, PowerPoint).
• Experience using Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, and Zoom.
• Ability to quickly learn and operate training‑related software.
