Social Media & Content Manager (Part‑time)

About the role

Jan Cosmic Foundation is looking for a creative and organized Media & Content Manager to steer its digital presence across multiple platforms. This part‑time role will combine strategic planning with hands‑on production to amplify the foundation’s message in Ghana.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive content and social‑media strategy for YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Telegram and other channels.
• Plan editorial calendars, coordinate publishing schedules and ensure timely delivery of posts.
• Oversee the creation of videos, graphics, photography, event coverage and promotional assets.
• Write or supervise captions, titles and descriptions that reflect the brand voice.
• Lead the media team, maintaining consistent quality, branding and visual standards.
• Monitor analytics, generate insights and adjust tactics to improve reach and engagement.
• Organise digital assets and scout new content opportunities.

Required profile

• Experience in social‑media, digital media or content creation.
• Familiarity with content formats for YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and TikTok.
• Strong visual storytelling, branding sense and attention to detail.
• Ability to plan, coordinate and lead a small creative team.
• Comfort with cameras, production workflows and event coverage.
• Good communication skills and willingness to learn JCF’s mission and audience.
