Sonographer – Diagnostic Ultrasound Specialist

About the role

The private diagnostic facility near Achimota is seeking a qualified Sonographer to perform a range of ultrasound examinations. This full‑time position supports obstetric, gynecological and general imaging services for patients in the Accra & Tema region.

Key responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations following approved clinical protocols.
• Conduct obstetric, gynecological, abdominal, pelvic, small‑parts, vascular and other relevant scans within scope of practice.
• Collaborate with doctors, nurses, midwives, radiographers, laboratory staff and customer care teams.
• Maintain accurate patient and examination records in line with hospital policies.
• Acquire high‑quality diagnostic images and document findings appropriately.

Required profile

• Graduate with a background in sonography or medical imaging.
• Resides within Tantra Hill, Dome, Achimota, Pokuase, Amasaman or surrounding areas.
• Ability to work onsite in a private healthcare setting.
