Sonographer – Full-time, Accra (Kokomlemle Centre)

About the role

The Sonographer will provide high‑quality ultrasound imaging and diagnostic services at the MSIG Kokomlemle Centre, supporting clinicians with accurate reports and ensuring excellent client care in line with clinical quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform obstetric, gynecological, abdominal and other ultrasound examinations.
• Produce accurate and timely ultrasound reports to support clinical diagnosis and treatment decisions.
• Prepare and position clients, maintaining privacy, dignity and confidentiality throughout procedures.
• Maintain ultrasound equipment, conduct routine checks, and report any faults promptly.
• Document all procedures, participate in clinical audits and quality‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field.
• Registered with the Allied Health Professions Council of Ghana and in good standing.
• Minimum three years of relevant experience in a reputable health facility.
• Strong knowledge of obstetric and gynecological ultrasound procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a client‑focused approach.
