Sonographer – Full‑time, Accra (Kokomlemle Centre)

About the role

The Sonographer will deliver high‑quality ultrasound imaging and diagnostic services at the MSIG Kokomlemle Centre in Accra. Working closely with clinicians, the role supports accurate diagnosis and treatment decisions while maintaining client dignity and confidentiality.

Key responsibilities

• Perform obstetric, gynecological, abdominal and other ultrasound examinations as required.
• Produce accurate, timely ultrasound reports to aid clinical decision‑making.
• Prepare and position clients appropriately, ensuring privacy and comfort.
• Maintain ultrasound equipment, conduct routine checks, and report any faults.
• Document all procedures, manage consumable supplies and support appointment scheduling.
• Participate in clinical audits and quality‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field.
• Registered with the Allied Health Professions Council of Ghana in good standing.
• Minimum three (3) years of relevant experience in a reputable health facility.
• Strong knowledge of obstetric and gynecological ultrasound procedures.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and a client‑focused attitude.
