Steel Sales Specialist

About the role

The Steel Sales Specialist will drive growth of the company’s steel product portfolio, including pipes, roofing sheets, nails and related items. You will develop new business channels, nurture existing customer relationships, and ensure timely order processing and payment collection.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and expand sales channels for steel products.
• Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to overall business growth.
• Identify and acquire new customers and business opportunities.
• Conduct regular customer visits to maintain strong relationships.
• Follow up on customer payments and ensure timely debt collection.
• Gather market intelligence, competitor pricing, trends and customer feedback.
• Prepare sales reports and provide market updates to management.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth order processing and customer satisfaction.
• Undertake other sales‑related duties as assigned by management.

Required profile

• Proven experience in sales of steel products or related building materials.
• Channel development experience and existing customer resources are a plus.
• Strong understanding of the steel market, distribution channels and customer needs.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and meet sales targets.
• Strong customer relationship management and analytical skills.
