Studio Manager – Ceramics Operations

About the role
The Senior Studio & Operations Manager will own the day‑to‑day running of our Accra ceramics studio. Reporting directly to the Founder, you will ensure production, logistics, inventory and finances flow smoothly with minimal oversight.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain a safe, clean, and fully functional studio environment.
- Oversee supplies, consumables, equipment servicing and repairs.
- Plan studio layout and storage to optimise production flow.
- Coordinate with utilities, contractors and service providers for premises matters.
- Work with the Lead Studio Ceramist to schedule output, align production with order demand and delivery deadlines.
- Manage order fulfilment from production through dispatch for retail, wholesale and commissions.
- Handle logistics, shipping documentation and anticipate potential delays.
- Track studio finances, reporting and documentation.
Required profile
- Degree‑educated operator with at least 4 years of relevant experience.
- Proven ability to run a production studio independently from day one.
- Strong organisational and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent communication with both local teams and international stakeholders.
