Survey Engineer – Construction Layout Specialist

About the role

The Survey Engineer will lead large‑scale surveying and layout activities for the expansion of the Ghana Glass Factory, ensuring that all structural elements match engineering drawings with high precision.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct on‑site surveying and layout work to determine building positions, axes, elevations, and control points.
• Establish, calibrate and maintain the measurement control network and leveling points for long‑term data consistency.
• Operate total stations, levels, GPS‑RTK and other specialized instruments for layout execution and verification.
• Perform physical measurements throughout construction, confirming compliance with blueprints.
• Process raw measurement data using specialized software and deliver timely documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Surveying Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on, on‑site surveying experience in industrial construction.
• Proficiency with advanced surveying instruments and strong ability to read complex construction drawings.
