About the role
Grundy Group is seeking a skilled Surveyor to join its team in Accra. You will be responsible for delivering accurate land, topographic and construction surveys using a range of modern equipment and software.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct land, topographic, engineering and construction surveys.
- Operate GNSS receivers, Total Stations, levelling instruments and drones/UAVs.
- Perform RTK, PPK, static GNSS, traversing and levelling surveys.
- Process drone and field data to create topographic maps, plans and 3D models.
- Prepare survey drawings using CAD and GIS tools.
- Maintain detailed field notes, records and project documentation.
- Collaborate effectively with engineering and project teams.
Required profile
- Degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Surveying & Mapping, or Geomatic Engineering.
- Mid‑level experience (approximately 48 months) in land and construction surveying.
- Professional certification or registration is an advantage.
Required skills
- Practical knowledge of Trimble, Topcon and CHC GNSS equipment.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Topcon Tools, QGIS and Agisoft Metashape.
- Ability to operate drones and process UAV data for mapping.
- Strong understanding of RTK, PPK, static GNSS, Total Station and levelling techniques.
- Competent use of Microsoft Office.
