Taxi Fleet Operations Manager

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Taxi Fleet Operations Manager to oversee the day‑to‑day performance of our taxi fleet in Accra and Tema. You will ensure vehicles are road‑ready, drivers are supported, and financial processes run smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, interview, and onboard new drivers for the fleet.
• Manage vehicle repair and maintenance, liaising with mechanics and electricians, negotiating costs, and minimizing downtime.
• Monitor vehicle condition, identify driver‑caused damages, and recover repair costs from responsible parties.
• Provide technical support to drivers using the Yango driver application and resolve related issues.
• Record driver shift data in Google Sheets and generate regular reports on vehicle status, debtor lists, and financial performance.
• Oversee driver payments and ensure timely collection of vehicle rental fees.
• Execute ad‑hoc operational tasks assigned by the Fleet Management Team.

Required profile

• Proven experience in vehicle repair coordination or technical fleet management.
• Previous work in a taxi fleet or car‑rental environment.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and conflict‑resolution abilities.
• Highly motivated, results‑oriented, and able to defend company interests.
• Valid driver’s licence and confident driving skills.
