Technical Co-Founder & CTO (Equity)

About the role

Upperlight Group is seeking an entrepreneurial technical co‑founder to serve as Chief Technology Officer. You will own the engineering architecture of a cloud‑based logistics platform that connects agricultural sourcing with global markets.

Key responsibilities

• Govern the existing codebase, enforce code‑review standards and maintain production‑grade repositories.
• Ensure maximum platform uptime, optimise real‑time data pipelines and implement enterprise‑grade cloud security.
• Translate scaling objectives into technical roadmaps, select frameworks and define product features.
• Establish coding standards, manage developer workflows and lead recruitment of the engineering team after funding.
• Partner with founders during investor presentations to articulate software scalability, security posture and technical advantages.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, preferably in B2B SaaS, ERP or supply‑chain logistics.
• Proven track record designing, deploying and maintaining enterprise systems.
• Alignment with the strategic vision of a fast‑growing agritech venture.
