Technical Product Manager – AI Products

About the role

Zof AI is seeking a Technical Product Manager to own product decisions where model behavior meets business value. The role defines AI product trade‑offs—cost, quality, latency—and decides what is "good enough to ship" based on evaluations rather than intuition.

Key responsibilities

• Own product direction for AI features from problem definition to shipped outcome.
• Manage cost, quality, and latency trade‑offs of AI capabilities.
• Define what "working" means and back it with evaluations, not intuition.
• Translate customer and market needs into a credible product roadmap.
• Partner with engineering on what to build, buy, or call via API.
• Prioritize ruthlessly in a small, fast‑moving team.
• Communicate product decisions clearly to the team and customers.
• Measure adoption and outcomes, iterating based on evidence.

Required profile

• Experience shipping AI or ML‑powered products.
• Working understanding of model capabilities, limits, and economics.
• Strong product judgment and prioritization.
• Ability to reason about quality metrics and evaluation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Comfort operating hands‑on in an early‑stage environment.
• High ownership and follow‑through.
• Willingness to use AI tools deeply in day‑to‑day work.

What we offer

• Housing support or provided housing where applicable.
• Private chef and meals where applicable.
• Laundry and cleaning support.
• MacBook Pro with premium AI development tools (Cursor Ultra, Claude Code Ultra, OpenAI Codex Max or equivalent).
• Focused builder environment with basketball court, table tennis, and foosball.
• Massage, fitness, and wellness support.
