Technical Sales Specialist – Poultry & Livestock

About the role

We are looking for a Technical Sales Specialist to drive sales of poultry and livestock feed products across Accra and the Tema region. You will combine strong technical knowledge with sales expertise to support farmers, distributors and key accounts, helping them improve productivity and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets for feed products.
• Develop and maintain relationships with poultry farmers, livestock producers, distributors and dealers.
• Identify new business opportunities and increase market penetration.
• Provide technical advice on nutrition, feeding programmes, animal health and farm management.
• Conduct farm visits to monitor product performance and troubleshoot challenges.
• Organise product demonstrations, farmer education programmes, technical seminars and dealer training.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer feedback, reporting to management.
• Collaborate with marketing, production and technical teams for product launches.
• Prepare sales forecasts, visit reports and market intelligence.
• Ensure timely collection of customer payments according to credit policy.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or HND in Animal Science, Animal Nutrition, Veterinary Medicine, Agriculture or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of proven technical sales experience in the poultry or livestock feed industry.
• Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
• Experience providing technical support to farmers and delivering training sessions.
