Tele-Caller (Admissions Call Center)

About the role

Academic City University is hiring a Tele-Caller for its Admissions Call Center in Accra. The Tele-Caller engages prospective students and parents by phone to give information, follow up on inquiries and guide them through the admissions process. The role requires good communication skills, professionalism and the ability to handle queries effectively. Applications close when the position is filled.

Key responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to prospective students and parents about programs and admissions.
• Follow up on leads and inquiries so they receive timely responses.
• Maintain records of calls, responses and next steps in the admissions CRM.
• Help resolve general inquiries and escalate complex issues to the right department.
• Support the admissions team in reaching enrollment targets.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications or a related field.
• Strong verbal communication skills in English (and local languages, if applicable).
• Customer service orientation with a positive, professional attitude.
• Ability to work efficiently in a target-driven environment.
• Bilingual applicants (English and French) have an added advantage.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of CRM software, or willingness to learn it.
