Telesales Representative

About the role

36TY COURIER is a Pan-African smart logistics platform offering cross-border fulfillment and delivery services, including call center services, pick and pack, order shipping, cash-on-delivery, warehousing, returns processing, remittance services, customs clearance and virtual office services. It is hiring a full-time, on-site Telesales Representative in Accra, Ghana and Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, who will make outbound calls to prospective and existing customers, present logistics and delivery solutions and turn leads into sales.

Key responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to prospective and existing customers and present the company's logistics and delivery solutions.
• Convert leads into sales through follow-up and objection handling.
• Respond to inbound inquiries and explain service offerings.
• Maintain accurate records of calls and customer interactions in the CRM.
• Coordinate with operations and customer support teams.
• Meet individual and team sales targets and contribute to customer retention.

Required profile

• Strong communication skills to explain services clearly and build rapport with customers.
• Solid customer service and customer support skills to handle inquiries and resolve issues.
• Proven sales skills to generate leads, close deals and meet or exceed targets.
• Ability to learn quickly, work in a fast-paced environment and pay attention to detail.
• Minimum of a high school diploma; further education in Business, Marketing or a related field is beneficial.
• Prior telesales, call center or logistics experience is an advantage.

Required skills

• Comfort using phones, CRM tools and basic computer applications.
• Training-related skills to learn service offerings, internal processes and compliance requirements.
