Telesales Representative

About the role

Unateus is looking for a confident, persuasive and results-driven Telesales Executive to talk to prospective and existing customers, find sales opportunities, close deals and grow customer value through upselling and cross-selling. The ideal person is comfortable speaking with customers by phone, identifying their needs, handling objections and confidently asking for the sale.

Key responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to new and existing customers to generate sales.
• Respond to inbound leads and turn enquiries into paying customers.
• Identify opportunities to upsell customers to higher-value products or packages and cross-sell relevant additional products.
• Understand customer requirements before recommending products and clearly explain features, benefits, pricing and value.
• Handle objections professionally and follow up consistently with interested prospects until a clear outcome is reached.
• Meet or exceed daily, weekly and monthly sales targets.
• Maintain accurate records of calls, interactions, follow-ups and sales in the CRM or sales tracker.
• Re-engage previous customers, give feedback on objections and buying behaviour, and keep a professional customer experience.

Required profile

• Previous experience in telesales, inside sales, retail sales or a similar sales role.
• Proven ability to close sales and upsell customers.
• Comfortable making a high volume of calls and able to work under performance targets.
• Experience using a CRM or sales tracker is an advantage.
