Territory Sales - Inside Sales Representative (French Speaking)

About the role

We are looking for a talented Territory Sales – Inside Sales Representative to join our Aftermarket Department in Accra, Ghana. The role focuses on driving revenue growth, delivering exceptional customer experiences and supporting the wider sales team.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and convert sales opportunities through inbound inquiries, lead generation, cross‑selling and upselling to meet revenue and margin targets.
• Apply the Cummins Sales Process to ensure timely, accurate and value‑driven support from inquiry to order fulfillment.
• Strengthen customer relationships by proactively engaging, understanding business needs and positioning Cummins as the preferred supplier.
• Manage quotations, support RFP responses, qualify leads and coordinate sales administration activities.
• Maintain accurate CRM updates, sales reporting, pipeline management and forecast tracking.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align inventory, delivery capabilities and service expectations.
• Troubleshoot transaction issues, assist with receivables escalations and identify repeat‑business opportunities.
• Identify process improvements and promote cross‑functional collaboration.

Required profile

• Commercial and sales mindset with strong negotiation, pricing and profitability awareness.
• Deep understanding of customer and market needs across engines, power generation, parts and services.
• Proficiency in forecasting and pipeline management using Salesforce and other sales tools.
• Excellent relationship‑building skills across West and Central Africa, adaptable communication style.
• Bilingual proficiency in French and English (written and verbal).
• Degree or diploma in Sales, Marketing, Business or a related field.
• Experience as a quote analyst or in sales support/customer service is desirable.
