Test Automation Engineer

About the role

Zof AI is looking for a Test Automation Engineer to join its AI product team in Accra, Ghana. You will work daily with AI agents to design, maintain, and scale test coverage for complex customer codebases.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain end‑to‑end test frameworks using Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium.
• Build unit and integration test suites with pytest, Jest, or similar tools.
• Identify and eliminate flaky tests to keep the suite reliable.
• Define and own coverage strategy across unit, integration, and UI layers.
• Integrate test suites into CI pipelines with gates that block defective releases.
• Reproduce reported bugs as deterministic failing tests.
• Mentor AI agents on test‑engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to raise quality standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience writing automated tests for production software.
• Comfort reading unfamiliar code and creating robust tests.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑moving, high‑performance environment.
