About the role
We are seeking a passionate Textile Artist to join SafiYarn Limited’s creative team in Accra. The role focuses on designing innovative textile pieces that support our NGO’s community projects and promote sustainable fabric use.
Key responsibilities
- Develop original textile designs, patterns and colour palettes.
- Select appropriate fabrics and materials for each project.
- Create prototypes and samples for review and production.
- Collaborate with project managers and other designers to align designs with program goals.
- Maintain detailed design documentation and ensure quality standards.
Required profile
- Entry‑level candidates with a strong creative mindset.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work both independently and within a team.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast‑moving NGO environment.
Required skills
- Knowledge of fabrics, patterns and colour combinations.
What we offer
- Monthly salary between GHS 900 and GHS 1,200.
- Full‑time, onsite position in Accra.
