Training Manager – Sales Academy

About the role

The Training Manager will lead the Sales Academy, designing and delivering targeted training programs that enhance sales techniques, product knowledge and customer advisory skills. Working closely with sales leadership, the role focuses on improving team performance, conversion rates and premium growth.

Key responsibilities

• Set strategic direction for the Sales Academy, manage budgets and ensure seamless program delivery.
• Lead and mentor a team of training professionals, fostering a collaborative learning environment.
• Conduct needs assessments, identify skills gaps and develop curricula covering product knowledge, sales strategies, compliance and communication.
• Utilise diverse instructional methods such as instructor‑led sessions, online learning, blended formats, gamification and simulations.
• Facilitate engaging training sessions and monitor impact through KPI analysis and participant feedback.
• Continuously update programs based on evaluation results, industry best practices and emerging trends.
• Maintain strong relationships with sales, HR, product development and compliance stakeholders, as well as external training providers.

Required profile

• Proven experience in designing and delivering sales‑focused training programs.
• Strong analytical skills to measure training effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Passion for building high‑performing, client‑centric sales teams.

• Learning Management System (LMS) administration.
• Data analysis for KPI tracking.
