Transport Coordinator

About the role

We are looking for a Transport Coordinator to join Epiroc Equipment Ghana Ltd. in Obuasi. The role sits within the Equipment & Service Business Area of the Parts & Services Division EMEA and supports the Supply Chain & Sourcing function, specifically the logistics department. You will help manage regional shipments, ensuring timely and cost‑effective transport while complying with import and export regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Regional Transportation to achieve KPIs related to cost reduction and service quality.
• Support optimisation of inbound and outbound transportation to improve delivery efficiency.
• Track and trace shipments, provide updates and resolve transportation issues.
• Prepare and verify export and import documentation for regulatory compliance.
• Maintain accurate internal records and data integrity for transportation activities.
• Coordinate and expedite shipment solutions to meet critical deadlines.
• Review, approve, code and process freight invoices in partnership with finance.
• Contribute insights to regional cost and service improvement projects.
• Ensure adherence to service level agreements and legal compliance for all import/export processes.

Required profile

• Relevant certifications or specialised knowledge in supply chain, transportation or logistics.
• Strong command of written and spoken English; additional languages are a plus.
• Understanding of domestic and international transportation processes and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple functional teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office applications for reporting and data management.
