About the role
A renowned company located in the industrial hub of Tema is seeking a qualified, experienced and motivated Transport Officer. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating transport activities, overseeing vehicle tracking, managing fuel consumption and supporting overall logistics operations. This position requires strong organisational abilities and the ability to work closely with drivers and other stakeholders to ensure efficient movement of goods. The officer will also ensure compliance with company policies and maintain accurate transport records.
Required profile
- HND/Degree in Logistics, Transport, Business or a related discipline (or equivalent).
- Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience in a similar transport role.
- Residence in Tema or its surrounding areas.
Required skills
- Excellent coordination and organisational capabilities.
- Familiarity with vehicle tracking and fuel management systems.
- Good written and oral communication, plus solid computer proficiency.
