Warehouse Supervisor – Logistics

About the role

YARA Ghana is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead warehouse operations at its terminal in Tema. The role involves overseeing product receipt, storage, dispatch and ensuring safety and housekeeping standards are met.

Key responsibilities

• Check and inspect incoming products for correct quantity, type and quality, and label them appropriately.
• Dispatch products to customers following established delivery procedures.
• Organise all warehouse activities, maintain safety compliance and high housekeeping standards.
• Conduct monthly stock takes and prepare accurate inventory reports.
• Update inventory data in the system and manage contracted labour and clerical staff.
• Supervise warehouse clerks and ensure efficient inventory management.

Required profile

• Graduate degree or professional diploma in Procurement & Supply Chain Management or Accounting.
• Minimum 3 years of multinational experience and 3‑5 years of warehouse experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Excellent communication, listening and interpersonal relationship skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Fluency in English and good health & safety awareness.

Required skills

• SUN Accounting system knowledge.
• Strong computer skills.
