About the role
Transmed is looking for reliable truck drivers to deliver products safely across the Accra and Tema region. You will be the face of the company at customer sites, ensuring accurate deliveries and maintaining high standards of vehicle hygiene.
Key responsibilities
- Drive delivery trucks in accordance with safety and quality guidelines.
- Park trucks at customer premises without causing damage to property or personnel.
- Verify and tally received goods with customers, obtain signed invoices, and collect cash or cheques as per delivery terms.
- Maintain the cleanliness and overall appearance of the truck at all times.
- Report any vehicle defects immediately to the supervisor and maintenance manager.
Required profile
- Completed secondary education.
- Valid Ghanaian Class C driving licence.
- Ability to follow supervisors' instructions and respect customer premises.
- Basic numeracy to confirm quantities and handle cash transactions.
Required skills
- Safe truck operation.
- Route recognition and navigation.
