Video Annotator (Remote, Full-time/Contract)

About the role

We are seeking detail‑oriented Video Annotators to support a Vision‑Language‑Action (VLA) dataset project. Working remotely, you will watch short video clips of physical tasks and create precise, step‑by‑step annotations that can be used by AI models.

Key responsibilities

• Watch each assigned video in full to understand the overall task.
• Segment videos into logical steps based on visible action boundaries.
• Write clear, concise, grammatically correct instructions for each segment.
• Assign accurate start and end timestamps for every segment.
• Follow provided annotation guidelines, taxonomies, and style guides.
• Flag unclear, corrupted, or mislabeled videos.
• Participate in calibration sessions and incorporate QA feedback.
• Meet daily and weekly productivity and quality targets.

Required profile

• English proficiency at C1 level (CEFR) or higher.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to notice subtle visual changes.
• Strong written communication skills for precise action descriptions.
• Ability to work independently and follow detailed guidelines.
• Reliable internet connection and a computer with a modern browser.
• Basic computer literacy (file handling, web tools, spreadsheets).

Required skills

• Experience with video annotation platforms such as CVAT.
• Familiarity with Label Studio.
• Familiarity with Scale or similar annotation tools.
