Warehouse & Inventory Assistant

About the role

The Warehouse & Inventory Assistant will support daily operations in a textile‑focused warehouse, ensuring accurate fabric measurement, efficient stock organization, and timely order fulfillment for both walk‑in wholesale customers and online dispatches.

Key responsibilities

• Measure and cut fabric inventory (bedsheets, curtains, home textiles) to exact customer and production specifications.
• Organize, sort and maintain fabric bundles to maximize storage space and enable rapid retrieval.
• Receive, process and carefully package customer orders for prompt delivery.
• Assist wholesale customers on the floor, explaining product features, materials and availability.
• Maintain a clean, safe workspace and conduct routine quality checks on stock during handling, sorting and packaging.

Required profile

• Proven experience in fabric cutting or working in a textile, retail or wholesale warehouse environment.
• Strong organizational ability to manage stock movement and fulfill orders in a fast‑paced setting.
• Basic literacy and numeracy for accurate order verification, stock counting and inventory tracking.
