Warehouse Supervisor – Lead Warehouse Operations

About the role

The Warehouse Supervisor will oversee daily warehouse activities, ensuring efficient receipt, storage, picking, packing and shipping of goods. Reporting to management, the role focuses on maintaining high productivity, accuracy and safety standards while leading a team of warehouse staff.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise all warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, order picking, packing and dispatch.
• Assign tasks, monitor performance and provide coaching to warehouse personnel.
• Track inventory levels, conduct regular stock counts and generate inventory reports.
• Ensure proper labeling, storage and handling of goods in compliance with safety regulations.
• Utilize the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to monitor productivity and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe warehouse environment.
• Identify process improvements to reduce errors, delays and operational costs.
• Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for quality and accuracy.
• Prepare daily and weekly reports on inventory, staffing and performance.
• Communicate warehouse needs and performance metrics to senior management.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of experience in warehouse or logistics operations.
• Previous supervisory or team‑lead experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Knowledge of warehouse safety standards and inventory control.
• Physically fit and able to work in a warehouse environment.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends or overtime as needed.
• Degree in logistics, supply chain, business, mathematics or related field (preferred).

Required skills

• Proficiency with Warehouse Management System (WMS) and basic computer applications.
