YouTube Strategist – Remote Full‑Time/Contract

About the role

We are looking for a data‑driven YouTube Strategist to own and scale our channel presence. You will shape the end‑to‑end video content pipeline, from audience insight to post‑publish analysis, turning the channel into a high‑performing engine for brand awareness and measurable business results.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute long‑term YouTube content strategies aligned with business goals, optimizing for search (SEO) and suggested video algorithms.
• Conduct audience research and competitor analysis to identify trending topics and high‑value opportunities.
• Guide writers, videographers, and editors to produce videos with strategic hooks, titles, thumbnails, and pacing.
• Optimize metadata (titles, descriptions, tags, thumbnails) to maximize click‑through rates and watch time.
• Monitor key metrics in YouTube Studio and translate insights into actionable channel improvements.
• Maintain an editorial calendar and streamline production workflows for consistent, high‑quality output.
• Collaborate with social, paid‑ads, and product marketing teams to integrate YouTube content across the marketing mix.
• Identify and pursue monetization options, sponsorships, and merchandise integrations where appropriate.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or equivalent experience.
• Proven track record of growing YouTube channels, supported by a portfolio or case studies.
• Deep, up‑to‑date knowledge of the YouTube algorithm, SEO best practices, and community guidelines.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret YouTube Analytics data and drive strategy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for briefing creative teams.
